Apple requires all new iOS apps and updates to be iOS 7 optimized

With more than 75% of iOS devices – iPads, iPhone and iPod Touch – having adopted iOS 7, Apple announced that beginning on February 1st, 2014, all new applications as well as updates to existing applications must be built with XCode 5 and must be built to be optimized for iOS 7.  This news appeared on Apple’s Developer Blog.
